Our Aims

We aim to offer high quality care and education for all children who attend our Pre-school and work in partnership with parents and carers to help children learn and develop. We aim to support all children to become independent learners and actively encourage children to think for themselves and develop confidence and self esteem to be an active member of our Pre-school. We aim to work closely with families and offer support where necessary.  We actively encourage children from all walks of life, promoting equality and value of diversity.  Parents and carers are encouraged and welcomed into our setting and their thoughts and opinions are valued. We are committed to supporting the professional development of our staff and our aim is to regularly reflect and review our current practice to ensure we are supporting the individual needs of all the children, as well as the needs of the group as a whole

FINANCIAL

Fee Structure We are open from Monday to Friday and during most of the school holidays.( We close for a short period during the December holiday season.) The fees are as follows: Full Day: R 2 650.00 p.m. Daily Rate: R 300.00 Operating Hours6:30 am – 5.30 pm Half Day:R 2 250.00 p.m. Daily Rate: R 280.00 Operating hours 6:30 am – 1:00 pm Registration: R 500.00 Per child and Non Refundable The fees include; Breakfast, lunch and bakers man.

Our Story Welcome to one of the happiest and friendliest places in Weltevredenpark! We are set in a home environment with very small classes, ensuring individual attention and safety of your child. It is our joy and pleasure to help families find just the right early education setting for their children and we’re sure it’s here with us, in a safe and comfortable place where learning is full of fun. Mission Statement We provide care and education for children aged 1 years to 5 years old.  Our professional staff provide a safe environment where learning and play come together, ensuring your child is happy and protected at all times.  We welcome every child and family into our setting. ED-U-KIDS playschool has adopted the Preschool Learning Alliance Constitution.  We are committed to enhancing the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.  We offer support to each individual child to help them reach their full potential by providing high levels of care and education within a nurturing environment.
